There is one thing I do not like on this recreation, and that is the sporadic OB planted on the plants. That is totaly unecessary imo. I hit one of those on the 13th on the third round (there is no big OB, so it feels really unlucky). Could not get anything going on this round - except a nice long pitch-in on the 14th. Sorry hammers1man . but you will beat this I think. Fourth round was also full of mistakes - like a 4 putt for double bogey. +10 total. Not good enough at this point.

Yes, what is the idea about those OB patches? If you think the player ends up in an impossible position, surely you can declared it unplayable?

However, if you hit into a bush in real life, you can take a 2 club drop. I know that it is too easy to get out of bushes in the game. But I really do not like the OB inside the course. I am okay in large areas with scrub and bushes (and that the OB is well inside the bushes) - but not tiny bushes as was the case on the 13th.

81, 93, 84, 79 +49 There are no events in XB society going forward This week's USE Tournament at St. Andrews is scheduled to end in approx. 19 hours (at the time of this post). I have been setting up the Xbox events each week and making sure it's up. If I am around at the time this current event ends I'll try my best to sync it to the start/end times on PC. That is my fault and I apologize for that. Next week's event at Royal Dornoch for the Scottish Open, will be added at that time.

I am not much of a rival to you anymore, mr artvandelay . Have you bought a new mouse? Stopped drinking? Started eating βvitaminsβ? I have run out of superlatives... Same gear, never really drink too much thanks to my alcoholic father, and my daily vitamins do very little but I take 'em. Mikael we will always be rivals. The last two weeks are proof positive I can score better playing at a pace where I can get into a rhythm and the swing just flows. Even putts that should not fall go in! Having said that I love the online game with others and hope we can still find time to have a game together from time to time.

That is a scorcher of a front nine Art! π₯π₯π₯ Brilliantly played pitch shots π Brilliantly lucky, appreciate the props but on those and some of my long chirp putts the hole just got in the way.

After playing so poorly in the first 2 rounds I thought I would experiment a bit in the 3rd round & try playing with shot feed back turned off other than distance.Judging from my ball flight & where my ball finished I think I must have hit more perfect tempo shots than I have ever hit in a round before π Very enjoyable. The only time I may miss the feedback is for practice swings on partial pitches & lag putts but I am certainly going to continue this way & hopefully stick with it.

My practice on pitches, chips, putts are just getting the feel and watch my avatar's backstroke length. I tend to do a couple of backstrokes to get the feel for the timing on the length I want - then I hit it. I do not use the practice-shot in the game at all. And, using the feedback and practice is actually not how you would do it in real life as well. You won't get the 90% number when you do a practice pitch in real life - you just feel for the backswing length required for the shot.

If you really think about it, the ball flight and result tells you everything. Feedback breaks that emersion. I can tell straight away when I hook or slice a shot or push or pull from my stroke feel.

In real life you hit your shot and intensely watch your ball flight. We should all be playing with shot feedback off really. The game is so much better without it.

I have hit so many shots on this game and have never changed my tempo in the game so I know the feel and the shot. I set my tempo on 2K21 release day and have spent every day since trying to hit that tempo.
