Paired up with Paddy for R3. Tuffguts and Art were in the final pairing. Fantastic eagle putt from Paddy on the 6th from distance. A bogey on the 6th and had to get to work especially with how that final group has been playing. Stayed patient and gave myself chances. Just slightly missing my putts on the low side. Had to take advantage of the final two holes. Good drive and hit a stinger 3 iron just short of the green on 18. 12 yard chip up the hill with a SW. Gave it a chance and it dropped for an eagle to tie Art at -19 with Tuffguts one back, heading into the Final Round.  |

Round 4 and teeing off with paddyjk19 . The wind direction differed by 90 degrees, but our drives ended up side by side. Our approaches ended up a yard apart behind the green. He chipped in, I did not. Hole 2 and our drives 2 yards apart. Spooky, as my youngest daughter would say. Steady play by both, but I lost my sharpness the last few holes. -7 must be my best result so far. Just survived the first 2 rounds when the game was not there, and then score when the wind picked up. A strange game...  |

Tee'd off Round 3 with wimigbg . wimigbg played a fantastic round, with precision approach shots and short game. Very well played wimigbg . I couldn't get anything going, but was able to finish with a decent -2.  |

Love this course! thankfully it's quite easy as I make the transition from PS4, -7 at halfway but I can see some folks going very low here! Round 4 brought to you by THIS ^^^^^ proverb. Got in a groove on the inward half and I think I broke the game.  What a fantastic tournament you put together Ye Royal Scribe! Keep it going Art!! |

Round 3 and 4 was very much more of the same. Could not follow wimigbg, but managed a -3 in the final round for -1 total. Two early bogeys in the final round, but the rest was very solid. I see from stats that I miss too many fairways, but that is somewhat natural in the wind, but the 48% fairway is a bit misleading, because I had several good drives that trickled into bunkers. So tee to green was good in my book. I just could not putt as well as Art Windelay.. (or any other for that matter). 6,5% long putts. 47% medium. Room for improvement. But overall, I think the play bodes well for the coming events for me even if I am well behind on the PC leaderboard now. I also usualy do not play well on links courses. |

Final Round in now. Great start on the first. Knew I had to play just about flawless golf to catch Art. The bogey on the 3rd took away any momentum early on of trying to make a charge up the Leaderboard. Tuffguts played well as he has all week, making some great putts and knocking approach shots close. I had numerous putts that were just on the edge but unfortunately did not drop to keep pace with Tuffguts. Such is golf. Finished at -23 for the week. Phenomenal tourney this week artvandelay! 👍   |
