The first round and a solid enough effort in those conditions.

Third round was even better - and now I sunk plenty of those medium putts. 83% GIR - quite a different story. Was very close on several putts - almost sunk a 61 feet on the 14th. And I missed a very makeable 4 feet downhill on the 16th - that was hard to take. And again I failed on the 8th - this time hitting the powerline and bounced back into fairway, leaving 357 yards to the green.. But I was happy with the round and solid golf all round.

Played the first round yesterday, a solid triple bogey on the first hole with 2 shots in the water... Came back strongly and had just one bogey with 3 birdies I think. It felt like all my medium lenght putts dropped, kept me alive. My tempo was way off, I was hitting very fasts out of nowhere, and fasts when I tried to go for the slow fades. That got me into lot of trouble, but made some good recovery shots.

And the fourth round: YES! That was a very good round. Finaly I hit the fairway on the 8th - had a nasty 8 feet curler for eagle that I underread, but I take that birdie any day. Managed also to hit the fairway on the 13th for the first time in this tournament, but the approach was a bad fade..- and what a solid way to finish the round with several decent holes. Made the wise tee shot on 16th, and overall just fantastic. A nice par save on the 5th is going to the "Shots of the week" highlight. Sorry @sirwade and Tuffguts - but it feels so good to get past you on that final round

Round 1 and if I could just stop going for swims I might be ok. 1st and 5th come to mind.

Round 2 very similar to round 1 including the swim on 1 and the final score.

Second Round in. Adjusting to the new club set and yardages. Took the Bridgestone driver out and put the Mizuno purple in the bag for this one. Hit more fairways and greens. Just missed on a few birdie opportunities. Only mistake in this round was on the 13th. Almost drained a bomb on the last with a 40 footer up the hill. Just curled around the cup. Into red figures at -1 at the halfway mark.

Aggressive mindset heading into R3. Really got going on first couple of holes to start. That bogey just before the turn really took the wind out of the sails. Still gave myself chance after chance. But couldn't knock in the handful of slider 7-10 footers to make a move. Yet another clutch par save on the last. -3 heading into the Final Round.

Played round 2 with my self appointed arch rival artvandelay . If you are a little off on this course, you get bogeys. That can be seen on my first 9. If you hang on and have some luck, you can score birdies. That can be seen on my back 9. Including the 3-footer I missed for par. I'm breathing down your neck, artvandelay . How's that for an image?
