Pretty happy with +3 in the strong wind. It's so rewarding to hit a drive deliberately sliced into the wind, ending up in the middle of the fairway, then aiming to the right of the green and hit a LW with the wind 7 ft from the pin on the left side of the green and sink the downhill putt for birdie (on the 17th).  OB on the 1st? No, several inches to spare.  A little shy, hiding behind the hill.  |

Some strong scoring out there! -7 total for me, too many slows in rd 1 at the worst possible time. For example, the tee shot on the long par 3 where if you go right you can bounce down the huge hill. I bounced down the hill 😂. Every time I repeatedly tell myself “don’t do (whatever)” before shooting, I usually end up doing it. Of course, not being able to make any putts whatsoever didn’t help.

Tempo was good but way too many lipped out birdie putts plus 3 blow up holes in the 2 rounds. Played ok though and really enjoyed the course.    Worth watching this fantastic eagle putt again! |
