Round 2 card. Very happy with that after I woke up on the second tee! A very nice course that requires a bit of thinking on the way around.

rounds 3 and 4 complete at the Garmin Norwegian Cup. R3 same as R2. 2 Birdies and 2 Bogeys (yawn). After thinking about it even par is not a bad score on this course. R4 I played the best round of the tournament. A clean card with 4 birdies. A couple of birdies slipped through my fingers but overall I'll take -4. I finished the tournament at -6. Well played Wade The greens are not exactly flat - so what I find on this course, is the need to know the green contours - even more so on firm and fast settings. And then there is the issue of hitting the correct place on the green, with the right spin etc. I short sided myself so many times, and that is so punishing on this course. Next week will be an easier course - but more water.

There was one par three if you hit in the right spot, it would roll across the green to the hole. I found it by accident with my usual offline approach shot lol.

All seemed routine on the front 9.Then I found the water with my approach shot into 11.Hit a similar poor approach into 17 short siding myself in the deep bunker, took 4 attempts to get out & then as is usually the case on a bad hole missed a short putt due to lack of concentration 🤯 Hopefully my week can only get better after this opening round 🤪

+7 then -2. Must of been winds and green speed, either way second round was better.

Round 3 was a frustrating one. A two ball with my competitor andersnm , trying to keep him behind me. The wet and slow greens did not suit me at all. Numerous putts left short on line, from an enraging inch to several feet. I felt a played better than a 77. I confess that most round feels worse than my score, so not complaining. Not at all...

My card for the third round. Pleased with that, I thought the two bogey's around the turn were going to ruin a great start, but held it together and bagged another couple of birdies. Not my favourite settings so that makes it even sweeter!

Lost my card for the first round, but started well and then gave shots back on the back nine. Second round was the opposite. Sitting at -1 at the half way mark.

With the wet conditions for the Third Round. Got aggressive with my wedges and led to a solid front nine. Made a 25 footer right to left putt for birdie after the turn Lost concentration and hooked it into the water off the tee on the next hole. Lost feel for tempo after that. But a solid pitch on the 16th led to a birdie. Still red figures in the rain, I'll take it.

Final Round in. Fairly solid tee to green. Just couldn't hit it on the right spots on the greens to give myself makeable putts to score well. Visited the woods again on 14 off the tee which led to a bogey. Layed up for a wedge approach shot on 16. Tried to flight down a full SW instead of a partial GW and ended up hitting the hill and rolling into the water. Double there. Even par and -13 for Overall. Must say, really enjoying this part of the schedule. Good mix of courses in this part of the USE season. 👍 Enjoyed the view a bit too much...

My card for the 4th Round. Another very solid effort. Part of me is disappointed because I missed 3 fairly short putts for birdie on each of the first 3 holes, but stuck in there and finished in the red numbers again. All 4 rounds under par for a -12 total, got to be happy with that. Very nice course too.

After a disaster round 1 playing with my new Xbox controller, I decided to hit the driving range and try and get my swing back. I ended up changing to an entire new club set, except for my driver and putter. I am finally started to hit decent shots. Still not 100% comfortable (not that I ever was), but getting closer to where I was before my controller change. I still have this funny hitch in my transition on my down swing causing a lot of slow tempos, but getting better each day.
Round 1 +11 Round 2 +1 Round -3
