Was taking a break from Harding Park and decided to browse and find the next project. Searched for Hawai'i Lidar Data and this website came up. I read more into it and there are quite a bit of .LAS files on all the Islands from 2017. Wanted to check with any designers here using Lidar if it's possible. There are many courses that I'd enjoy designing for the next project and moving forward along with anyone else that would be interested. Ko Olina, Ko'olau, Mauna Lani, Kapalua, Turtle Bay and Wailea to name a few. Plus it would be like being back home. Edit: I remember we needed Lidar Cloud Data for Chad's Tool. Thanks Wade! As far as I can see - it is the 2013 data at least when I look at Waialea and Kapalua (latter is not entirely covered). I had a look at this data in TGC 2019 - and too bad the data is very poor; here is a picture of one of the green sites - and take notice of how deep the greenside bunkers are in this data (should mention I have not moved or made the OSM accurate as the data was just too bad to make an effort):

Thanks for looking into that a bit Anders. That is one deep bunker, would look cool to see it in game. Shame that the data isn't very good. When I looked at it briefly, the courses I had in mind were also like Kapalua and not entirely covered too. I admit, would be nice to add a few courses to the Hawai'i swing with Mauna Kea.

Thing is, no bunker are that deep on this course in real life (when looking at photos etc). The data is jagged and crap with huge spikes here and there.

Ah ok. If the well known courses like Waialea and Kapalua aren't great for data. Guess will have to scratch this off the list for next projects.
