andersnm , paddyjk19 I just published my final beta. It is Port RB Final. It took me much longer than I thought to do the double water trick on 4 lakes. Three of them turned out great but the final one between hole 17 and 18 was a Royal Pain. If you have time to give it a play and any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Sorry it took me so long, I am burnt out at the moment. lol I forgot to ask what color texture do you guys normal use for Greens, Fairways and Rough? No sure I like the color of my course or not. For colors - I try to choose something that resembles video or photos. I will bet you will find the colors vary on pictures and on videos - so choose what you like from that. I think you have made fantastic progress Wade. Considering you don't have lidar data, I think you have done a really good job and the course now looks and plays really nice. Here is my round with Legend difficulty and USE play: Thanks Anders! That's a really good score with Legend difficulty! I really appreciate all of your advice!

Update: Port Royal went from 153 plays last night to 346 this morning with a 4.5 ⭐ rating. I guess my strategy of publishing the week of the PGA event has paid off. I am currently working on a tour version. I recorded round 1 yesterday and I'm using that to develop better elevations and planting. I will also use the 2020 pin positions when they are published.

A question for fellow designers, andersnm, paddyjk19. How much memory can I use before publishing issues? I'm almost at 90 percent and it turned red. I wanted to put crowds and grandstands in. Do they count against the memory? If so, I might not be able to do them. Thanks

But, as long as you have planted one, you can use that over and over with no more memory meter - however it takes a little bit on object meter, but that is much less. As long as you are under 100%, there should be no problem. I never reach the limit these days anyway as I have learned to restrict myself quite alot from the days when you had less meter to work with. I think I can allow myself more freedom, but I think either way to be careful to not overplant is important now as well - as some systems may lag a bit if parts of a hole is overplanted.

Thanks Anders. So you are saying I plant a grandstand then copy and paste it in other places? Also, does the crowd take up memory as well. I noticed you can turn crowds on and off so I wasn't sure. I'm at 92.5% now and I don't want it to lag so maybe I will forge the grandstands and crowds.

If you plant one type grandstand - then keep plant that type of grandstand, it will only take object meter after that first grandstand of that type. I have not tested crowds - a little too early to plant crowds on Torrey Pines for me But my experience with crowds from TGC 2019 is very little object meter usage. I do not think crowds take memory meter as that is related to non-theme objects.

Port Royal GC - (Tour) has been published. I recorded last weeks Bermuda Championship and made a few changes to the course. It also has the 2020 hole/pin locations from the tournament.
