R2 came home at +4 for +6 total.
FIR 28%. Putting exceptionally well; many 10-20 footers for par or bogey. Without Flatty working, carnage would have ensued.
I played a practice round in R3 conditions on Legend preset. Let’s just say I hope I do better in my tournament round. 😢⛳️

Rushed my 3 rounds in 1 sitting as no time this week. Rubbish +38 total, just can't play speed golf. Don't enjoy playing this way.

Grind. Grind. Grind. Through 3 rounds and 5 holes, I was holding it together. I missed a few short birdie putts, made some long par-saving putts and worked with the game I brought to the course. Tied second on PS4. Then the 6th hole in R4 came along.
I'd been getting slightly fast to fast swings all day (estimated since shot feedback is turned off) and out of nowhere a giant slice or slow or both. Swing feel on controller felt normal, though. Those of you with shot feedback off know what I mean: you can tell just by feel when you've hit it wonky. A 44-yd partial pitch out of 73% rough sailed almost 70 yards. Pitch coming back landed near the hole and rolled 30 feet past. Putted to 3 feet. Massive L-R curve off a normal stroke and some ping-pong putting led to a 9.
Rage speed-golfed the rest of R4 and that's me done for this week. +26 in R4, +41 total. I'm in Paul's "no fun" group! 😀
