paddyjk19, andersnm, I am playing around with a new course, Port Royal Bermuda. PGA Bermuda Championship at the end of this month. @pakalolo77 and I are both have issues trying to line up the fairway rough as it transitions to the green. I used CrazyCanuck1985's tutorial for my courses on 2019 and it worked perfect. This is where you put 2 measuring marks on each side of the green. Then line up the fairway spline points with the measuring marks to get a smooth transition. This method is not working for 2k21. I even tried not closing the path because I saw this on CC1985's 2k21 Fairway to Green transition YouTube video. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You need to make sure fairway path and green path are the same width and make sure secondary width is also the same

You need to make sure fairway path and green path are the same width and make sure secondary width is also the same That was it! Forgot to check fairway/green path were the same. Way cleaner lines now. That works for newly created fairway splines. Would this technique be the same for fairway/green splines that were mapped from OSM as well? Mark green splines for transition with measurement tool then move/adjust fairway splines to those marks?

I did all the above suggestions and still isn't working for me. This is a short course at 6,828 so I will just go without fairway rough. The course needs a little defense anyways. Might be a course we can all go low on!

Easiest way on OSM is to make the fairway points share a point with the green points and then it’s perfectly lined up. Wade, are you zooming in enough and marking the splines with the measuring tool? Are you making sure there’s no sharp angles jutting out? Might be you’re not making the lines straight enough

Might be you’re not making the lines straight enough I'll make note of that for OSM on the next course After flattening the front nine tee boxes. I saved and played around with some splines on bunkers and greens that will need some work. Before the changes, the second cut was into both of those greenside bunkers. Didn't save this even though it took awhile. But wanted to get accustomed to what does what within the designer.

I would use the technique in the video you posted. For some reason it doesn't seem to work the same now in 2K21, at least for me lol. I will check to see if I'm making my lines straight. That could be the issue. Thanks for your help Paddy!

As a TGC rule you always want the light rough to stay away from the bunkers so that is spot on!

I’ll take some photos when I’m on my laptop later to see if it helps
