Yeah, I saw chat about it.
I think it changed like 2-3 days ago?
I played the other day and my putting was all over the place. Switched off, saw the chat about it and realised it could well have been that.
But feel like I've adjusted to it now. So I've gone from very shit, back to just shit. 😬
To me, it just feels like an adjustment for pace, like on different green speeds, but will be interested to hear others' thoughts.
People have said the putting now glitches for them, which is really crap.

I was really overhitting my putts yesterday which is not normal for me, I thought it was the beer.

Need to double check on other green speeds. But yeah can confirm that the putting mechanics has slowed down. Has that 2019 feel to it. With lots of practice this was the speed at which my putting stroke was with the fast putting stroke prior to this fix.

I knew something was off yesterday as I have never overhit so many putts as I did in my 2 USE rounds. Just hit the practice green and am overhitting all medium and long putts. Really knocked my distance feel off.

It is easier I am holing loads of putts on the putting green, just need to get my feel for distance back. It will also help with not pushing and pulling putts as a faster back and forward mtion is easier to hit straight. Great news for you polekatt/josia as I can really see this helping your putting.

I'm still pushing my putts terribly... Have you tried putting like you did in TGC2019?

I did not notice it last night while playing Art but I was still trying to putt with the very slow backswing. I can't wait to get on the practice greens tonight and see how it works if I go back to my 2019 style!

I have always putted with a very slow steady back and forward stroke. I have not noticed any changes with the putting swing itself, but a few holes I over shot by quite a bit, which is rare for me. Typically, I leave puts short.

I'm still pushing my putts terribly... Have you tried putting like you did in TGC2019? I pushed them in 19! 😂🙄 It's a bit worse in 2k21, as like everything else, it's more sensitive. Which is a good thing. Also, I can't remember how I did it in 19 😂 (Obviously, I allow for my push a bit, but I'm also trying to correct it...)

well I played a bunch tonight. I went back to 2019 style, and noticed the changes immediately.
Its easier to control distance. I had absolutely none of those weird little hitches and false starts. But... its harder to control how straight it goes.
And oddly, I had to do away with using the trigger button for a top down better view. Doing it this way, I can judge distance better with the default camera.
It'll take some getting used to, but I think it will be much better in the long run.

It feels like 2k21 144 greens are putting like 2019 greens that were somewhere between 163 and 187.

I’ve been using the top-down view as my default for putting. I’ll have to try my 2019 full view to see if I like it better with the putting changes. Thanks!
