Just wanted to check if I was missing a step as when I export the .course file it is not showing up in game. Found Lidar data for TPC Harding Park. Went through the Process Lidar part. Got the mask.png file and marked/masked with red as shown in Chad's tutorial. After that was Import Terrain and Features. That ran and went to Course Tools. Exported the TPCH.course file to the Course folder for 2k21. When I went in game, it was not showing up. What step am I missing here? Feel like it's fairly close.

I don’t think you can export to 2k21 as the tool is for 19, I’m having to export to 19, publish and then import legacy course on 21

I open the course in Tgc 2019, then move the file from the 2019 course folder to 2k21 course folder. You need to save and exit in the 2019 course designer. Or you can publish and import legacy.

The one thing I noticed in OSM, is that a good majority of TPC Harding Park is mapped/splined and shows up well in game. But it's definitely not as precise. I'm assuming that my next step is to go through the entire course and edit to make sure all greens, fairways, bunkers, cart paths etc are done correctly, then re-run the Import Terrain and Features part again. Correct?

Correct? Yes. Alot of mapping in OSM are poorly done. So fixing that is saving alot of time compared to fix it in the designer.

Also, there is no need to mask anything. Object meter is 0% if you don’t import trees, or you get the trees that is imported. Memory meter will be roughly the same with or without mask.

Correct? Sometimes LiDAR and OSM don’t align perfectly so in the tool there’s a fine shift option where you can move terrain so it lines up with the mapping. Typically I use the bunkers as a reference point, and then measure how far out it is and then use the compass to work out which direction I need to shift terrain. If this is proving hard you can PM me your email and I’ll send you mine and if you send the course file I can line it up quickly for you to save remapping everything. Check on OSM first, go through a few different background maps and just see if the person has done a tidy job, If they have done tidy it’s 100% an issue with terrain and mapping alignment
