Nice! 👏 Also pretty surprised to see tgct selecting a good course 😬 Even stranger to see them picking a par 69 LiDAR course from little ole Cornwall in the UK for the PGA tour! Bit like us on Elite playing the Italian Open at a real course in Australia! One good thing is that the course selectors are picking more and more real courses, I just hope they only pick the really top fantasy courses, the ones that look and feel real. The course on TST this week wasn't great, I didn't even finish 5 holes. (Apologies if the designer is reading this, it was also crashing my PS4 so got bored and quit!) |

I'm rarely a fan of their courses.
I noticed (on small evidence) that they seem to have picked some realistic fictional courses so far, haven't noticed real courses. That would be a very positive change 👍
I do get why they pick fictional, part of their whole thing is to "showcase" designers; it's not something I personally enjoy very often though.
Would be cool if they could have one more society, for everyone, where they do all the showcasing, and then have real courses for the pro tours. (Can't see that happening...)
I know, and understand, why some people aren't bothered by course plays, but I'm glad to see your course will get some shine 👏

I know, and understand, why some people aren't bothered by course plays, but I'm glad to see your course will get some shine 👏 Thanks mate, it feels good that Enodoc is getting an outing as it was the course where I had my eureka moment with backgrounds, I realised the reason people liked Enodoc was the wider estuary and views with the farmers fields etc. makes it feel like an escape. It also helps Rob G who's a course selector plays it in real life, he would be first to tell me if I'd F'd the course up! |
