I played the WCoD entry by zzfr33b1rdzz - Mulligan Quarry. I'm happy to give feedback.
As always on the WC courses, there is not much to pick on planting etc. Only visuals I didn't like was the cliff down to the lake by the 13th and 14th. It did look a bit unatural, so I think a more gentle slope towards the water could be better, or the timeconsuming job of putting rocks around there. From a playing perspective, the tee shot would be more demanding with a gentle slope starting inside the fairway down to the water, so the golfer is required to hit to the left side. If you then have a more dense forest/bushes on the left side after the slight dogleg on the 13th - this would be a very interesting tee shot. The tee shot on the 14th was interesting in itself, but also there a more gentle slope towards the water could be more pleasing - or a more rocky cliff, coupled with some bushes.
I think you have very good variation in hole design, it never gets repetitive and always good options off the tee. I truly like the split fairway on the 6th. One point on tees: You have the tees in small increases in length, and the front tees gives some lengthy carries - like for instance the 6th. I would think that the front tee on this hole should be across the first bridge to give the short hitting golfers a good chance to find fairway off the tee. To have a rule of thumb for the front tees, I would think that a max carry of 100 yards would be good. A good point is that the course doesn't feel like it is just designed for the game - so big plus points there.
The greens are good, but I did question the size on some of the greens. I am used to that one usualy wants larger greens on par 3's and smaller on the par 5's and more normal on the par 4's. I did find more small greens on the par 3's and large greens on some par 5's. This is okay, but in my opinion some of the large ones at like the 6th and 11th was a bit too large for my preference.
Best of luck in the competition
