The Donald Steel designed Mill Ride opened for play in 1990 and is often described as having the characteristics of both links and parkland styles. Set in the grounds of a 175 acre private estate, the course winds itself expertly around seven lakes and has matured beautifully over the last fifteen years. Host to many championships including events on the European Seniors Tour and the Southern Region PGA Championship, this challenging course is also a regular hang out for lots of top European Tour golfers. The par 3 11th hole is one of the finest in Berkshire; at 175 yards over water with a shallow green, it is a genuine card wrecker. Now available on PGA Tour 2K21

Thanks Paul, it plays nicely on the new difficulty, was too easy before. Hopefully you get the drama of playing the 11th hole and the nerves!
Just re doing West Hill which should be great with better trees and more accurate trees, also there’s bushes that look like flowering rhododendrons so should capture it nicely

Will give West Hill a play when you've finished tweaking it.

Getting closer This is a really nice course! I played it last night and shot +12. If I can just get my putting down. Actually missed a 3 ft put because I lost focus. No more automatic shots in this game lol. You really have to stay focused for 18 holes.

So much better, doesn't feel like I'm struggling with distance now, saving up for an iron set.

Unless it's a deep green side bunker?

The problem with pitch is it badly penalised for off tempo shots so it is hard to do partials but can be done with practice. I think it needs tweaking. Splash is way too easy to get up and down with, I haven't even hit a flop yet as I will always hit pitch from that distance. We all need to test this, I do hope they tweak the short game because splash in this game feels easer than 2019's flop.

We all need to test this, I do hope they tweak the short game because splash in this game feels easer than 2019's flop. Tested the pitch out of the practice bunker on the range and set it to auto mulligan so I could hit shot after shot from the sand. It can be done with practice but what do we do to mimic opening the face to impart spin like irl? True shot? I also went to Firethorn and hit out of every bunker leading up to hole 7. These were all one offs as couldn’t use the auto mulligan. But was able to get out and one of them checked nicely when I hit it correctly. On hole 7, with the pin tucked right next to the bunker was a tough one. Hit it 10 feet past but just got it over the lip of the bunker. I’ve also been purposely choosing pitch for greenside bunkers while practicing. I’ll let you know how it goes. I’d rather splash though 😎
