Arggg! So many putts on the edge, even a few from 2ft. Anyhow, not much magic this week. -2,-2,-3,-6 for -13 I’ll take it but this one really frustrated me, Good luck

Ok look, I played a practice round a couple of days ago to re-familiarize myself with the course after not playing it since last year, all assists on and eagled the 18th to finish 2 under. I was expecting a torrid time when I teed it up tonight. So I've started -9 and -7 to be -16 at halfway point....shocked even myself First round putting was extremely good with 5 or 6 double digit putts, a 30 foot R-L swinger on 14 the highlight. 3 putted 9 my only blemish. A couple of good deliberate fast swing and 90-95% approaches worked for me so it all seemed to be going my way. Second round was solid but didn't sink as many putts. Tap in eagle on 6 and chip in birdie on 9 the highlights. Will leave the last 2 rounds for later. Tempo was solid as well I think, feedback was off but maybe 1 or 2 fasts all up. Liked the 163 greens in both rounds. Cheers Finished up with a -7 and -2 for a -25 total. Putts wouldn't drop in Rd3 but hit some good close approaches, incl an eagle hole out on 7 after starting with 6 pars. Crosswinds for the most part in Rd4 weren't conducive to hitting it close so virtually nothing hit inside 10 feet. Lagged well and had a couple of good putts but a fairly frustrating round. Not sure what happened but it crashes on the 10th green,,,,it seems on xbox there are like 2 holes there ball goes in the cup and game just freezes.All i can say That course is something special from just the front nine......thought the 9th green a little severe but not knowing the course that well played it as it was....fantastic design HB in for a shock when they see this one,amazing design work the course just felt so good for the looks to the surrounds. ELGC Alpha That might be the screwup that happened pn the 10th pins. Need to delete the hole and put it in again to get it to work. Don't get that crash on my PC though. Anyway, thanks for the compliment  I might be tempted to finish it after all.. Just played ELGC Alpha. It was fantastic. I played from the tips ( because that was all there was lol) and pin #2. The course was gorgeous and played tough in high winds. You should definitely finish it. It was the best version of EL I have played. |

Round 3 was another enjoyable round, especially the 21 foot curler I sank on 18 for iggle.  |

NIce round Paul. It was my three putts on the last two holes that was the difference Yes was a shot behind you for most of the back 9. Had a similar putt on 1 for birdie as I did for eagle on 18 , lipped out on 1, right in the middle of the cup on 18 |

Scrappy 2nd round E after 9 with birdies and bogies. Found the water on 15 but managed to to get up and down from 200+ yards for bogie. Somehow 3 putted from 4 foot for double bogie on 16. 1 behind Anders after 2 rounds.  |

Went -9/ -4 / -9/ -4 for -26. I feel like I have a knack for getting alternating rounds like this lol
Felt like I played really well in rd 3. Rd 4 I misjudged the wind horribly a couple times and went way long, but was able to recover for par. Slow downswings on flops (unless it’s a short swing) are still a constant, I think I just need to play for it at this point. Other than that, I had a pretty good swing.

I probably played the best I have ever played in a match here, except for the front nine of R4, which was so bad, it negated the rest of the match. Could not hit anything without hitting fast. With that wind it totally threw off any aiming, when I didn't know what the tempo was going to do. On the back nine, situation righted itself, and I did ok. But on rounds 1-3, everything was working great and it felt good to actually compete.

Round 3 really poor start 3 over after 4 holes and fell away from Anders, good fight back to finish under par but 4 back from Anders.  Round 4 Really poor start again 2 over after 5 this time but a really good fightback and an especially good back 9 to tie Anders on -9. Happy with the finish in the toughest conditions, nice course and a really good set up of playing conditions.   |
