My scores haven’t changed much since I went to pro clubs, but I enjoy it a lot more and dont get as frustrated. If it becomes an issue for anyone I’d change back, but I’d also probably not play each week.
Im glad you enjoy playing with my ghost Al. I always enjoy the rounds I play with all of the guys on XB. I’ll try to play a bit earlier so you’re not playing on your own as often Al 👍

I’ll try to play a bit earlier so you’re not playing on your own as often Al 👍 Like I said previously, if you had say, 3 tournaments in a row where you scored 5 to 10 strokes better and finished 3 or more places higher than normal each time, I'd personally want you (or whoever) to try masters for the next 1-2 weeks, and then obviously if it was just horrible, go back. So it wouldn't be a case of "right you're doing too well, you must play masters from now on," and then you're skipping events because you have no motivation to play. Maybe like a give and take kind of situation? I've not been following your scores, but if you're scoring roughly the same anyway, then we don't have that problem yet anyway 👍 But, overall, I'm still happy for the player themself to make these decisions, and I'd much rather have everyone playing. So I'm still reluctant to make and hard and fast "rule" on it. We have the new game coming out soon anyway and can see what the play is like and whether it's more consistent through the platforms.

My play with Pro Clubs are the same as ray. I'm usually within a stroke or two of Master Clubs. This past week I played the first 2 rounds with Pro Clubs and the last 2 Rounds with Master Clubs. I shot -3 +1 +2 +2. The first round was one of those rounds where the ball just bounced my way a few times. I personally don't see an advantage with Pro Clubs when playing USE rules. There is no loft box to dial in your shot and you can't stop the ball as fast as you can with Master Clubs. Then with the wind in certain directions you can't get the distance on par 5s. I'm trying to decide what to do the final 3 weeks. Do I use Pro Clubs, Master Clubs or just not play. Jeff really pissed me off with his comments. He was mostly mad because he can't use my ghost when he plays tournaments, if I use Pro Clubs. Thing is, when we were playing together, not once did he play a tournament early so I could use his ghost. There's a lot more I could say but I will take the high road. I sent him a personal message and told him exactly how I felt. Which he could have easily done to me instead of bringing his comments to the forum.

There will be always be little bits of needle in a society like this, but we definitely keep then fairly infrequent and don't let them continue on.

First want to get it straight that I don't have a problem with Pro Clubs being used. They were never a restriction though it was talked about at the start. My biggest objection with Pro is that I find the short game and putting much easier and forgiving with them and tbh putting is pretty much the same difficulty across all 3 platforms with Master Clubs. I do actually struggle hitting my putts straight and miss quite a few putts from push/pulls. It should have only been the long game that was the difference imo if they were looking for some balance. They have dropped the clubs from the new game, I am really hoping we have an even playing field across the platforms because that will be a huge step forward.

Wade,
For whatever discomfort, pain or offense I caused you, I’m sorry.

Wade, For whatever discomfort, pain or offense I caused you, I’m sorry. Jeff Can we get a group hug now? With 6 feet of distancing of course, maybe more from Jeff as he smells a bit of fish and bourbon. Onward!

I will be finishing out the season with Master Clubs. I have been busy all day finishing up a real course, Mauna Kea Resort & G.C. I just published it if anyone wants to give it a go. I accepted Anders challenge and put houses and roads on the course.

I'll whack it in extra society 👍 Haven't really been researching courses much recently and was running out of ideas, but then found a really cool looking Japanese course, then this awesome Australian sandbelt where some bunkers are cut directly into greens- I'd seen a video of it by my favourite golf YouTube guy, and then someone did an rcr of it! And now one from you as well. So the next 3 tournaments are set now 👍

I noticed some bunkers, most noticeable on the 5th that was a bit unatural for me - the right greenside bunker on the slope. Other than that, great job Wade!

I had a hard time with that one. I probably should have redone the green. Great Eagle on #8!
