Rd 1. This was much more of a struggle than it appears. After the two birdies to start, I was battling to save par pretty much the rest of the front 9. I only had 55% GIR...I would’ve definitely been in trouble if it wasn’t moderate greens as I had numerous heavy rough chips. I kept being either in between clubs or behind a tree. Putter was pretty good though. Maybe it’s just me, but I felt like the wind meter was lying quite often lol. I had a couple that looked about 10mph left or right, and did not move the ball at all. Something I definitely notice on putts, and i think it might be the same on wind; if you go even a small amount past the point of the correct line, it just goes straight! I think it happens on mild breakers (and therefore mild wind too, theoretically.) As always, might be my imagination! ,😂 I’m definitely not dismissing this, I think you could be on to something lol. I play quite a bit in very high wind....and don’t really notice anything out of the ordinary. I’ve heard people say the very high is inconsistent, but it always seems fine to me. It definitely does seem to be more the medium wind where I see this issue of it staying straight occasionally. Hmmm 🤔

-3, +1, -1, +2. For Total -1 . All over the map on this one. Putting is a struggle lately grids or no grids. Can’t get a feel for it.

Really nice opening -3, followed by a solid but slightly frustrating -1.
I was at -2 for quite a lot of my 2nd round, maybe started chasing another birdie, but really it was just a slight slip up and then a narrowly missed putt on around 14 or 15 for the bogie that took me back to -1.
Scrambled well and was pretty much 100% on 3-8 footers for par.
Love this course.
Faster greens incoming!

Frustrating round 1 at Firestone, 1 bogie and 1 birdie a lot of great birdie chances missed. 3 great sand saves though so a bit of scrambling also.

My card for the third Round. Very nice Albatross on the second, but all the hard work undone with some ragged closing holes.

I forgot to screenshot rd 3, so this is 2 and 4. I never play more than 2 rounds in one sitting as my swing usually turns to shit...but decided to keep going and finish out. The putting gods finally started to give back on the back 9 in rd 4. I couldn’t miss...also hit a couple really nice fast approaches especially on 18. That felt like the best stretch of holes I’ve ever played. Finished with interesting scores of -6/ -9 / -6/ -9 lol, for -30. It’s not often that I’m done before the weekend! Hell it might be the first time.

-8, -1, +1, +1.
Brilliant round 1, blew it like I always seem to.
I’m that guy in the club that turns up and plays then gets in his car and leaves. Will make it back into the clubhouse when things settle a bit. Hope everyone is staying safe and well 👍

Useless.....-1, -3, -1, -1. Prob the most frustrating tourney for being in-between clubs on approach. Could not intentionally fast swing to save my life but plenty of unintentionals!! Speed-played the last round and a half. My sim form has deserted me since my TST win a couple of weeks back. Cheers

A relatively satisfying -1 for my 3rd round, where I was battling at +1 for most of it, made some really good pars to hold the round together, and then ended up getting a couple of birdies later on in the round. Also just missed a chip in and 3 putts, otherwise could've been a really good round.
Followed by a mostly poor/frustrating final round, where I kept hampering my progress with bogies, but a sparkling finish of 3 birdies in the final 5 holes took me to -3.
Particular highlight was the final par 5 (a hole I LOVE btw) where I completely messed up the drive and was far left of the trees, smashed my way back on the fairway, and had a 216yd approach over the water. Judged it JUST right, clearing the water by a couple of yards, and then making the tricky little 11ft downhill, hard breaker for my birdie.
Too many bogies this tournament, but also made plenty of birdies and should never be disappointed with four under par rounds here!
Don't know how far up I'll finish, but enjoyable tournament on a course I knew I really liked and has cemented its place as one of my absolute favourite courses.

What an absolute mess of a round, great start with a lovely holed 25 footer off the fringe on hole 1 and a lovely approach for a 5 foot eagle putt on 2. Totally made a mess of 4 and 16, just shocking the less said the better. Great finish with a nice approach on 17 and a cracking left to right 31 foot birdie on 18.

Round 3 another great start, hole out fairway bunker on 1 and a birdie on 2 to be 3 under for the 1st 2 holes again. even managed to get to 4 under after 8 before the inevitable collapse. Putted well but am suffering with the slow tempo blues. Highlights
