Played speed golf for round 4. Think it was +5? Not sure. Losing some love for USE right now. Even when the course is awesome like Muirfield Village, just not enjoying it like I have been. Yeah, it goes up and down. Hang in there! You should persuade your fellow Dirtbags to come and play the game the real way - then I bet your motivation will rise I have streamed my USE play with some of them watching, none fancy it like @sirwade and I do. For me its just that WITH the aids I do not score as well as some folks here WITHOUT, and I guess my pride is taking a hit. Gimme a couple of days, I'll probably get over it and be back.

After waiting 20 minutes for the game to connect for round 3 I managed to probably play my best front 9 in memory which included a missed 7 foot birdie putt and a 16 foot birdie putt that was 1 mm from dropping. Back 9 just rubbish 2 unforced errors by just not pay attention to end up in the drink. Maybe hit a USE first by hitting 2 aces on 2 consecutive par 3's on the front 9 youtu.be/FFHTsvvxu1QRound 2 the same inconsistencies, absolutely terrible first 5 holes to be 6 over for the round, putted like a 28 handicapper, then started holing some great long putts for a birdie run. Unreal how my game can be so great and so crap in a single round. Not unusual because I play like that in my real life society also . Hit par on 18

Hit par on 18 I didn’t mention it but I also had about a 20 minute wait between pressing start round and appearing on the tee. Strange.. Also, well played 👍

Golf just does that to you Art, at least you know with USE there wasn't a little helping hand to make you feel better about your game Nothing wrong with playing with aids but it's like stepping into the deep end of the pool here . We all get our arse kicked here by the course, to me it's how you bounce back and show that you can play this game on it's toughest difficulty. Regarding about the best players, we are going to have a great teams handicap/stableford events these next few weeks. We have top players like booze and gavlaar124 Tuffguts playing in this,so no elitists here and that's refreshing. This will be fun for all of us, this week is stableford and next week we are setting up team matchplay. It will be fun because ray will start the banter I'm sure , but all in good fun and respectfulness.

Even par last round, -4 for the event. Started poorly in R4, got it together for a bit then got caught up watching the scoreboard lol. Nice win Freebird, beat me by 16 on handicap, Tied off the stick but you get the moral win with me using Pro clubs. With a better first couple of rounds you’d have had a top 5 overall on your hands. Great play.

I’ve never hit 2 aces in a single round WITH aids, let alone front 9 playing USE. Well done! Yeah the unforced errors just stick with me no matter what I do the rest of the round. In the extra USE I drove straight into the water because I didn’t even bother looking at the map, completely avoidable...so annoying lol. Ruins my mindset from then on.

You know that some are better at this game. You don't win on the TGC tours PGA tour every week with the aids either Art What I thought, was more fun in competing with more players at the same level. So a shame that not more of the players find their way here.

Thanks booze, yeah this game does still spring up some real surprises for me. I think I have actually only hit one ace in TGC2019 before the consecutive 2 aces on the front 9 in round 3. Nice to pull off something special as I must admit I do get a little jealous watching so many great albatrosses holed here, as I have yet to have one on any of the TGC games yet. One of my bogies on the back 9 was because of not looking at the overhead and hitting into the water with driver when I should of hit a 3 wood. Silly mistake and totally avoidable.

Hi, just checking in. Haven’t posted in awhile. Just been playing my rounds and not even following the leaderboard. All I remember from this one is being completely frustrated at the dumb mistakes I made through out that negated some really good holes. I have been playing too fast the last few weeks. I just don’t have much free time at the moment. Take care, I still need to post my lowlights!

I just barely got round 4 in on this one.
Reason? I actually went and played disc golf, first time out in about 3 years, with my son, and didn't get home till later than I normally play my R4.
I started to post something here about my disc golf, but then I decided, this thread is not the place, so I'll make another thread in general.
As for R4, I was pushed for time, so I made it, but just barely. hahah.
