I finished up my rounds on Coeur d'Alene. I thought this was a well done, fun course. Except for the par 3 island green. It made me pucker every time lol. I finished at (-35) for the week. I think this was enough to edge andersnm  . There was no way to catch the Gavel gavlaar124, he was laying down the law!  |

Needed -24 in last 2 rounds to catch gavlaar124. Had a crappy front 9 in Rd 3, bogied 3 trying for a fast swing and getting a VF. Missed at least a couple of 5 footers. A bit of speed play ensued but still managed a -7. Gave myself a chance with a -8 front 9 in Rd4 then eagle on 11. Hit what felt like a beautiful smooth, good tempo 5W into 12...right on my club distance....inexplicably it went snap hook it into a VF and a wet double bogey followed. One and only game glitch tonight but what a time to have it. Birdied the rest of the back 9 apart from 18, sunk a few good putts as well... -13 and a -43 total. Long distance putts for the tourney was 9.76%. Sort of my Achilles heel at the moment....anything above 6 feet feels like 50:50. Anyway a bit of fun with the low scoring and hopefully brighten the mood around the place after the last couple of difficult weeks. Some great scores getting posted. Well done all. Cheers |

You, Paul, Paddy, Leon and myself all seem to play pretty even when we are playing well. It makes it fun for me. When I saw you post your -32 I said wow, I'm not going to catch that. Somehow I did but not sure how lol. |

Round 2 and had to play solo due to time constraints (gonna grill in a few minutes). Quite proud of the clean card:   Holding my own on the board, although there are a few PC big guns yet to fire. Really happy to see the bounce back round by polekatt/josia, good on ya Mate! |

Good comeback Al. I loaded your ghost on the 4th in the first round, I have no idea how it was an 8? What happened from what I can see is you had a fast on your first drive which hit wood and went OB. Your next shot finished close to the green but in some trees left, you hit a good flop and holed the putt. That’s a 5 where I come from??? I’m guessing there may have been a second OB I missed? Also, next time you can’t see your golfer, go to the putter and use the scout camera (like people do on tee’s when it’s blind, not that I’ve done it recently) to get an idea of where you’re facing 👍 |

Poor second round, -7. -13 at the halfway mark, miles back... Not even going to try Eye of the Tiger, I’d be doing it an injustice associating it with my current play...
Just not playing well at the moment. Playing like a guy who plays 4 rounds a week without practice. Should play more but struggling to get motivated.
Really like the course. It was laying naked on the bed with a lusty look in its eye in round 2, and I asked to be pen pals lol.

Hi guys, hope you're all well. I've been less present round here for a week or so coz I've just really got to burn out stage with the game. Playing way too much and not enjoying it. But I've played this week! 👏 I actually played 3 rounds last week. I was in a very good position (even) towards the end of round 2, then had a double and a bogie. Then was battling really well in round 3 too, but had an even worse collapse and got frustrated and stopped. I don't know what everyone else thought of bethpage, but for me, without the insanely fast and breaking greens, it's an amazing USE course. Perfect hole layouts for realistic shot making. If I'd been playing better, I probably would've REALLY enjoyed it. Anyway, way less to say about this week. Relaxing golf all-round. Beautiful course! I went fairly low on 3 rounds and very low on one. So many missed putts! Finished a couple short of Wade. Think I'll be back playing USE every week. Just need to not push it with the other societies. Which is a shame, because I have 4-5 good ones, where I like the people too. But it's just too much. And USE is the one that matters most |

First round with my mate Ian, I didn't play well after a good start but really enjoyed the live match. Ian played really well on the back 9 considering he has hardly played 2019 and well over a year ago.   |
