I even nailed my drive just missing the tree on 16 only to realise I was hitting my 2 wood instead of driver. Chopped out of heavy to scramble par. Should have birdied 18.

No water on the back al?  There are plenty of places to miss stroke on this course.. Nice recovery on the 4th btw Thought I was doomed with 14 looming, and then thought these last 4 are easy enough. And after the easy birdie was done, the pressure became immense. Was glad to get in. 😀 |

Shot of the round was the approach on 9, 2 wood and had to take a bit off it, rolled to 4 feet after landing just short of the green.

I think I just had my first ever albatross.
On number 15, I think it was, the par 5 on the back nine- I hit a good solid drive, then holed the next shot from 155 yds. |

Had a fast on 12 that cost me a triple. Tee shot was the fast one, went in the water. Left me a drop that was super awkward and botched the pitch, then chipped poorly and missed the putt. Was steaming on 13 and missed a short birdie putt. Felt like I left 4 out there but finished at -6 so can’t complain too much.
Nice course. Would be a fun course to play IRL as opposed to the monsters we play some weeks. Even at my best I’d have never broken 90 IRL on a course like Bethpage or Augusta, here I feel like if I played well (when I played often) I’d be around par.
Plenty of work to do to chase down Anders’ -32. Nice shooting sir 👌🏻

Finished off with my best round ... Pitched in from 63yds on the 8th and drained some long putts as well ... Very very happy with my total
So -47 to beat gents 😁

Rd 2; -12. Heavily reliant on the par 5's and short par 4's.
Putting still eludes me. Had a 16 footer and 10 footer for eagle on 9 and 17 but that was it.
Anyway, hitting the ball pretty well and need a couple of big rounds to have a chance.
