The second TAN tournament with the net leaderboard played on the beautiful Bjaavann course, a top course in Norway. Also a very stategic course, it needed special attention on almost every shot to bring in a good score. The winners podium showed some top players come to the fore with Mr Longpolex carding a terrific net 69 to win outright and bagging his third TAN crown to boot. Congratulations! Closely following are Horusphoenix (70) and a shared third place for Hendomedes and Colly45 (71). Well played gents! Getting it net under par on this course is impressive indeed. The course defended its net par vigorously as it shows on the leaderboard. All in all a great course and a thorough test for each player. Net results @ Bjaavann GK:

The TAN handicaps are starting to show some interesting developments and are giving the final leaderboard a big shuffle as players will now have to play to their strengths above and beyond to bring it home. Through handicap play every player has a shot at a top score and winning a TAN tournament! Every player must bring their best game and then some to climb on the leaderboard. This time, we greet none other then Hammers1man! to squeeze by to the top slot carding a net 68 playing his handicap to perfection on beautiful Castle Stuart, a fine links course. Also picking up his second TAN crown! Congrats 'Hammer'!  Second place is shared by OrsoGrande89 and Hendomedes who were edged out by just 1 shot coming in with strong 69's. Well done! The TAN club membership counts 54 players now, of which 35 have a active TAN handicap and a bunch are about to get theirs. We should be at 40 to 45 pretty soon. This 2023 start-up season will be the benchmark for 2024, so best to get your TAN handicap settled and locked in so as to have a reliable playing hcp for the future. A new TAN winner again @ beautiful Domaine Imperial in Switzerland, this time with none other then M.Bel_Trame who smashed through all handicaps (and probably his own expectations LOL!) with an explosive 62 to claim his first TAN crown!  Congratulations! ZuperAwesomeDad also put up a good number carding a 65 to claim second place for his own. Third place is shared by Colly45, JustJordann2914 and WeltyBeast, who were just one shot behind with strong 66's. The field is getting stretched in all directions now, with the TAN handicaps in play leveling out the leaderboard. Holing some beauty's and there is absolutely no luck about it, I just putt totally by feel for distance and feel for break. Real golf you take educated guesses of how much break there is, grids in this game tell you exactly how much break there is and that's nothing like golf to me. Sorry but you're completely false that it's all luck maybe for you but certainly not for me and many others who play sim tours. Personally I don't want any grids on the overhead at all, I just don't like or need them. If you can't get reads without grids maybe no grids isn't the mode you should be playing then. |

But if you don't enjoy putting without grids why make it frustrating for yourself. There are tons of societies that play grids, you're spoilt for choice. |

TAN 37 @ Great Northern again showed interesting shifts on the final crossplay leaderboard as the handicaps push and pull players up and down according to their efforts.  It makes for a fair shifting and keeps the pressure on all players to keep focussing on every shot. Ultimately a winner will come through and this time we greet WeltyBeast again who played well beyond his handicap to card a strong 66 to win his second TAN crown outright! Congratulations and well done! Right behind him Hendomedes and OrsoGrande89 closed in with 67's to share second place. We also greet a new member with Booze2407 who delivered a very impressive gross score of... 64  to post his first score on TAN. Fantastic round on the elite level indeed! Great front 9 then the dreaded push came into my putting and long game, awful back 9. Missed 2 really short birdie putts with big pushes. Oh well my game was great front 9 at least.  |

I thought the whole point of playing legendary was to make the game more difficult because Master was too easy.
But you defeat that purpose by implementing a handicap?
Where is the actual golf score list?

Where is the actual golf score list? I see they’ve just added a scratch weekly 2 round tour which will hopefully create the best of both worlds because that was a concern to me too. |
