I might get forced into a WD this week fellas. I hit my second shot a bit short on hole 5 and it hit inbetween the rocks and water. I went into the pause menu to declare unplayable but the game didn't have the option. I tried to hit it out of the rocks and water but it wasn't possible. The ball just kept going splash and barely moved. Was funny. Had to take the max penalty. 8 over par going into the next hole and hit a nice drive. Decent second shot which left a straight in 8 footer for bird. Drained the bird but as the ball went into the hole, the game crashed. I reloaded three times and when I go back into the tournament, I see my ball rolling into the hole and it immediately crashes. I'm gonna restart my computer and modem and try one more time but I got a feeling my game file is corrupted. I'll see if I can snap a picture as the putt rolls in. Good Game Fellas. Excuses, Excuses... right lol My fault for hitting the ball poorly on hole 5... Not the games fault at all, game working as intended! IMO the game is perfect   |

Restarted the computer and modem and went back into the Ultra Sim Tour. Looks like I got the dreaded putt loop bug. Putt rolls in and either immediately crashes or freezes. I didn't care about being 8 over or 7 over now with this birdie. I wanted to finish the two rounds to see if I could get back to even or better. I blame the constant use of the High and Very High Winds, lul, jk jk. Try again next week. GG's everyone... gg's.  |

Got the same exact bug in the second round of the ROTG Weekend Tournament.
Hope this isn't a common thing.
It might be because I had a consumable ball equipped.
Got to remember to swap out the balls after playing in ranked.
Just posting this for information purposes and reference incase you all run into this problem.
My game has been crashing a lot tonight as well.
Crashed 4 or 5 times before the bug problem started to occur.
I play on PC if you already didn't know.

My Video cut off again after 30 second but didn't notice, need to troubleshoot the problem. Played both rounds after way too many wines and my golf showed it, +11 I think. penknight sorry to hear of your problems this week as you would of had me easily. |

I went back into the game this morning as someone suggested that I add a ghost ball. Of course I didn't have the option to add the ghost ball but I tried to load the game anyway. The putt rolled in and stuttered this time but the game didn't crash. The game loaded for about 15 seconds or so but put me on the next hole. I was able to finish the round and the tournament. I finished at +11 so I beat you and lost to Meyo. After 2 tournaments the three-way rivalry is all square. |

Just keeping everyone updated in case any of you run into this putting loop bug.
I went in under the schedule for Ultra Sim and got lucky that it worked.
I tried it over at ROTG twice now and the ball rolls in and the game crashes.
I'll try again on ROTG later today after playing other rounds.
Maybe you just got to get lucky when you reload the game.
I dunno but I still love this game.
IMO it is the best combination I have seen in PC Golf over 40 years.
Links LS is probably my favorite, because of nostalgia but this 2k23 version has it all.
I don't care what anyone says, the graphics are amazing on my PC... looks really good and sometimes I take a minute to notice how good it looks.
You can play a new style of 3 click.
You can partial with swing stick.
The putting is pretty amazing.
Course Designer for endless options.
I can go on and on about all the positive things this game has/offers.
Sure, plenty of things could be fixed or better but the game is pretty darn solid IMO.
I can live with some glitches, crashes and bugs as this happens in most games that I own or play.

A very interesting course this week. I had already played it with friends in live multi player, so a pleasant revisit of this beautiful venue. I loaded hammers1man in for a go-around together. Boy! you scrambled your way through this one Paul!  Great putting kept you going too. For a fictional this course has exceptional realism. Very good design Danny! I am settling into my 'new life' now and hope on improving my play to get a bit more steady. Lots of fun!  |

Really nice track, well executed with some good holes. well done meyoOnly hole that I had a slight design issue with is this one;  The lay-up area is minimum 240 carry over water and still leaves a mid-long iron to the green so the only viable option is to go for the green, if the wind is against it's almost an unplayable hole. For holes of this style in the future, you could try something like this;  This would give you the option to use a lay-up with 3 iron, hybrid / wood to leave 160 yards and the centre bunker pushes the lay-up towards the water to achieve the shortest 2nd shot. I love a good 300 yard par 4 but it's always important that they have multiple options of varying risk-reward. Look at the 10th at Riviera; You could hit iron to leave a full wedge but the wedge shot requires pure accuracy. The attempt to drive the green doesn't seem that hard but the narrowness of the green means if you are slightly off then it's an easy bogey. The risks aren't easily seen just by looking at the hole, they are discovered by playing it. Hope that helps for future holes! |

The inuagural F.Graco Memorial ResultsA great turnout for F.Graco's memorial and some great golf was on show. A fantastic 4 stroke win from Rastaman4K with a superb -12 winning total. DonkeyPuncherBen is 2nd on -8 and we have a tie for 3rd on -7 with horusphoenix and Tuffguts. Low round is a superb 63 in the final round by the champion.
