I finished my first 2 rounds on Sand Hills! Very tough track. Two points of advice. 1) Bring your most prized putter and 2) Pay close attention to the shot the caddy wants you to hit. Also, when your approach shots are way off, it helps to be lucky! I'll probably make you an admin Wade, if you're cool with that, then we'll just collect scores from there and post here after tournaments, rather than everyone individually doing it. Plus some people like to not know scores as they're playing, for ghosts etc. I think I originally meant score submission here for xb and pc guys, after the tournament. Not saying don't do your updates though! That's same as normal  Liking this course. easy tee shots, mostly, fairly easy approaches, devilish greens! They must be on the edge of legal... I got the same as you in round 1. Was -5 on the last and had a putting blowup! I'm playing your ghost in round 2 but have had to stop to do some work. Great recovery from your nightmare start!  |

Sorry I’ve been so distant recently, just started a business so have been time limited! USE rounds are my escape so definitely up for some extra! Nice work Leon! I’ll try to finish some more courses so we can play them, would be psyched if you have Stoke Park a whirl on here

I took myself out of contention with a Blunderous (not a word but suits me) third round. I dropped all the way to (+4) early in the round and worked back to even par. I was a perfect lob wedge flopping distance off the green. My caddy told me to hit a normal lob wedge shot, so I did! I lost focus after that. I can't even follow my own advice about double checking my caddy, lol. I'm not sure why some courses do that. Oh well, Onward to next week! [/quote] My idea for this thread was for the PC and XB admin to submit any scores from their society so that I can collate them together for an overall leaderboard. The tournament chat thread is for everyone, cross platform, to chat about their rounds and general banter |
