Golf Park Donauworth is located in a beautiful landscape between meadows and forests and has established itself as a golf club in the region over the years. The spacious square with the view over the Danube and up to the Alps is a place of recreation, togetherness and sporting activity.

Thought I hit a perfect shot on 18 but the cruelest bounce into the drink on the right resulted in a bogey rather than the stonewall birdie. I will take the same score as our Aussie pacesetter anyday. Pretty chuffed with this short sided up and down.

It's a wicked little course hammers1man. Took me into the third round to sink a putt longer that 10ft. If it wasn't all but stone dead on approach, it was a 2 putt (or worse). The 144 greens felt a bit slicker than that on the downhillers. Had a couple of chips roll off the green as well. First round was a bit frustrating as I came in cold and wasn't sure what to expect but started to come to grips later on. Having said that, the abundance of light rough off the fairway helped me recover from the plenty of missed fairways this week. Backed up the -4 with a -12 in the second round. Full on attack of the short holes and knocked plenty of approaches close. Kept it going in Rd3 and 4 with some nice tempo off the tee and finished I think at -34 or -35??. Longest putt for tourney was 13.5ft. Enjoy everyone. Cheers.

Round 2 with Tuffguts again, a few really good up and downs from tricky positions for pars and birdies. Kept is somewhat close but then a blow up triple bogey on 12 with 3 chips that ended up back at my feet. Blown away by a great round of 60 by the Aussie. Round 3 played very well and a tough up and down after landing in a ditch with my 3 wood on 18 . Very good up and down on the 72nd for par out of the heavy rough from the drop which was near on 100 yards.

Hey folks. New to the boards but really enjoying this game mode. I play on a few True Sim Master Swing societies on Xbox but we allow follow cam and splash from everywhere so this was definitely a step-up in terms of immersion and very enjoyable to play.
Was delighted to shoot -35 - relied on some fortunate chip-ins in round three (the bloody chips on this game!) - and had some great golf tee to green in there too. Fantastic course I thought, both the layout and the look of it was lovely and I noticed that playing this way really makes you appreciate the designs a lot more. Squinting in the distance to see slopes off each side of the green, looking at the camber of the fairway and slowly getting to know the course over the four rounds... brilliant fun!
I don't know if any of you guys stream / watch but I'm on Twitch as PGA_Hendo if anyone fancies checking out my play and always happy to watch anyone else if you want to message your tag. Play well folks!

Happy to report that we also have 2 additional members that will hopefully play more often - LongPoleShallow and horusphoenix - also greyosprey has rejoined the Master society as well..

Play well folks! Thoroughly enjoyed watching your Twitch streams and will be setting up Twitch to stream my USE rounds also. Great USE golf in only your second tournament and on XBox also, very impressed. You also had one up on me sim wise as I had distance only on shot feedback, turned it off on my last 2 rounds and have to say I much prefer it off. You can tell a lot about your strike from the sound and the ball flight in this game, much more enjoyable for me turned off. I have pin marker off also, I just want to point out to new members that I have no problem with members changing to putter and raising the camera just to get an idea of where you are aiming on blind shots. We have a free camera option on PC which can basically be used as a walking camera, like walking 50 yards up the course to get an idea of where you need to aim. Unfortunately this is not on console so the putting scout camera is a compromise to not being able to walk about the course like we do in real life. Also if your avatar is blocking your view of the ball rolling towards the hole on putts feel free to switch to follow cam. It is not about solid rules more that we want to play the game realistically. Hopefully with some new Xbox sim players coming in we can get some round commentary going like we used to have. I do miss the shot of the week tbh. Also Craig we do have To the Linksland 2 round weekly tournaments which I love, a great curation of great mainly Britain and Ireland links courses picked by our links man colly . Unfortunately we don't have an Xbox society but if any of you Xbox members are interested in setting one up, I think you would really enjoy Linksland if you can handle 2 more USE Master rounds each week

I have 2 more join requests on XB, Rastaman4K and Golnor are the GTs, anyone know who they are?
Edit: I saw the post on tgctours forum, Rastaman is a friend of LongPole, not sure about Golnor, but I accepted both requests

This course was no exception. Confirming I play with pin marker on (simply to speed up the round), feedback all off and I've stuck with the old Golf Club 2019 USE guidelines of no loft or draw/fade slider. Rely on under/over powered shots if in-between clubs. Congrats on the great tourney Hendo. Looking forward to some close battles in the weeks to come.
