Should we then not elevate the putting camera on the greens also as that is unrealistic?, as is the pin marker and shot feedback if we want to use total realism. We need to draw the line and accept the limitations the game has over real life. I agree that any game will never be total realistic, and I have no problem with any "walking cam" so to speak - and I miss a walking cam in the game, as I also miss the ability to get yardages to spots on the course that I find important; bunkers, ends of fairways, water hazards etc. All pros use yardage books even if the devices we use like a skycaddie is prohibited in pro tournaments. When you step up to a tee on a pro tour, every pro golfer knows the distances to important places on the course. So even though I never find the need for using the putting cam outside the short game, I find no problem with using it as a "walking cam". We do have a camera mode on PC that is the perfect solution push the left stick forward it is like walking up the course , F10 on,F11 off. But unfortunately it is not available on consoles so I don't use it on competitive rounds here.

I like to use the putter cam when I'm hitting up a steep hill. IMO, it's equivalent to walking to the top of the hill to get your bearings. If, and just saying for me, if we couldn't use the putter view for this, I'd probably quit. It'd be no great loss for USE as I don't contend. Edit: I know this feeling of quitting sounds whiny, and I understand the need to make USE as realistic as possible, but feeling the game is slipping away from me with new rules. Everyone who plays here would be a loss if they quit Nina, itโs got nothing to do with where you are on the leaderboard.

Yes, I know - free cam as I call it (F10), because you can also get up in the air and all around the course with the right stick. I use this when looking at courses but never in play. When I looked at Pumbaa Ranch and Mulligan Quarry for example, I also used it at spots I wanted a better look at for a review.

Yes great for taking screenshots of the course and it looks great in ultrawide, I am going to take some screenshots for my PC wallpaper . Shame we can't use it on consoles as it is like having a run up to check out where to aim on blind shots if you only use the left stick and keep the camera at walking height.

When first trying out the putter cam for the overhead view, just be careful to not accidentally putt.
I ummm...saw a friend do this and it was a very traumatic experience ๐
