R1 complete on Sedgefield. I must admit, it was an enjoyable round. I'm curious to see how tight the leaderboard is at the end.
For a comparison, here is R1 on Master difficulty. Scores are pretty close.

Scores are pretty close. Simon and I on PC were both -4 through rd 1 so it’s a lot more compatible for cross platform play thus far, scores are also more reflective of tour I believe

I played Round 1 in both. Shot +4 in the Master tour and as Paddy said -4 in the Pro tour. I believe since the changes to Master settings this way of playing is very much more enjoyable on Pro. It will be interesting to see how the scores pan out this week in the Pro Tour.

just finished R2. I have to agree that Pro elimates the discrepancies across platforms and the scores seem more realistic. I'm at -6 after 2 rounds.

Rounds 3 and 4. I don't think this score is out of reach to the rest of the field. Here's a tip, bring your best putter for your final rounds! R3 R4

It will be interesting to see how the scores pan out this week in the Pro Tour. I had 5 birdies round 1 - but then I also had 3 bogeys and a double (two shots in water on the 15th par 5). Second round was better with only one bogey, and matched paddyjk19 for a -4. As Tuffguts remarked - tricky greens so putter needs to be on. We are so far very close after 2 rounds on the PC leaderboard, even with my "bad" 1st round.

Consistent week with a slightly better final round, designer has done an OK job although their pin placements at times a little hardcore! Will try to do Master's scoring later for comparison

It is also very realistic since Kinser just shot -15 on this course last week and won in a playoff.

Thanks mate, gotta say I enjoyed it more as I could relax a little more and just freewheel the rounds a bit more which is similar to what I did in TGC19. Initial views are that I enjoy pro more as Masters is a constant battle. That said I enjoy Masters sometimes because I'm actually a similar standard golfer to my avatar IRL - round West Hill a course I was a teaching pro at, on average I'm somewhere between -4 and +5 which is pretty much what I did IRL so it's quite nice for me to play real courses and see how I get on (always shoot +10 minimum at Shinnecock haha) BUT.... from somebody who previously enjoyed being competitive on USE in the last game and early on in this game (before the major update and switch to PC), I 100% prefer to play mu USE golf on pro difficulty, I still get to play the game in the purest form with USE style but I also get more shot satisfaction, it doesn't feel like a chore and I feel lots more players are in the mix competition wise across ALL platforms which I think log term would bolster our diminishing membership. My vote is certainly for us to play the main tour on pro but have a separate Masters or even Legends tour for those that want to punish themselves to some real life SIM golf! Anyway, here's the round stats in pictures, pro v masters from my rd1 of both societies (playing the final 3 on masters unlikely so using rd1 as a sample); Pro (-4) ; Masters (+6); key statistical takeaways are driving accuracy wasn't disimilar but GIR was much improved and my proximity to the hole was 10ft better, driving distance was 25 yards longer due to the fact I mis-hit less. I had a very costly triple bogey in masters due to a Very Slow swing on one hole otherwise the scoring might have been a bit closer, that said, I regularly have doubles an worse due to VS or VF swings

andersnm , paddyjk19 and SimChars1968 I have a question about clubs. Not trying to open a can of worms lol. Does it matter what color clubs we use in Pro? I used the purple TaylorMade set except for 3 wedges for my first 2 Pro tournaments. HB only made 2 wedges for Purple TM clubs. So I used 3 Gold wedges with the set. I'm pretty sure Anders is using Purple . Just curious how everyone feels.

As far as competetive advantages, I don't think there is any on this level - so pick what suits your gapping best, and what looks good - or any other reason

Is this Playstation and PC only? thanks, Shawn If I remember correctly you were on PS before. USE has always been about all platform but as the XBox is a much tougher experience with master we lost all our Xbox members(at one time we had more Xbox than PS or PC). We do need an Xbox player to set up a society and join admin as we don't have any atm. It has been mentioned that Xbox can compete fairly at pro difficulty so pro would be a cross platform leverler for all platforms. Let me know if you can or would like to set up an Xbox USE Pro society. I am sure there are a few out there that would be interested in more Sim golf with pro difficulty.

Yep, I used to be on PS, but after getting a series X, I slowly stopped playing games on PS4 until I finally made the decision to play on XSX only. I got tired of all the Zoro squiggle line swings, especially when putting on PS4, so I switched to XSX. Swing lines are so much better, especially putting, but the trade off was the Xbox tempo/poling issues. Not sure it was a fair trade. I've never been an admin before and don't know how much it entails. Heck, I've never set up a society let alone worried about managing it. lol I work 12 hr night shifts on a 3x2 schedule, plus a little OT when available, so there's a concern regarding what I'd be getting myself into and whether I could properly "admin" the society - again, not knowing what it all entails. That being said, I'm not totally opposed to it. thanks, Shawn
