@sirwade when you post up final PS4/5 leaderboards do you mind posting up the leaderboard with everyone's scores for each round, it will save me the time booting up my PS4 to grab the scores. Cheers mate. I will be trying to get USE final multi platform leaderboards and Ranking Tables up to date. Close finish this week, Eddie snatched it by 1 stroke. Paul, I just took this screenshot a few minutes ago. It looks the same as the one I posted earlier. If you are seeing something different then I have no explanation.

Wade I appreciate your post. Tbh I lost a bit of enthusiasm for USE because long time members were dropping out, especially as this was a pretty close knit bunch that cared about the sim aspect as much as I do. I kind of let the results go for a long time so those final leaderboards just built up and the more it builds up the more work to get it back on track. I was on a mission on Tuesday to get them multi platform leaderboards all up to date, took a long time. I am also on a mission to get our Ranking Table up to date this weekend. I have had to cancel my real society tournament this weekend so have a little time. Also the loyal USE members deserve not to have this society wither out and have a proper finish. Let's finish this season on a high I will get this back on track on Sunday. thanks

I was just curious where I stood in the standings. I'm trying for the inagural Iron Golfer award for playing ALL 52 tournaments no matter how poorly I played. 😜 I think a lot of players lost interest when 2k decided to mess with the swing mechanics 3/4 into the season. It was a good adjustment, but one that should have been made early into the game's release. It's a shame to see all the players dissapear but I'm sure they have their reasons.

I think you will take that award of booze from season 2 if you keep it up Yes I think master is intense at times but I find pro really boring. But honestly I don't care too much how I score if it feels immersive to me.

At least for me, the changes has nothing to do with it. I'm not sure why, but I got tired of the high scores (which has been the same for me for the last 8 months). We have scores from -30 to +50 (and even worse). To me, that is a bit too much difference between top and bottom to get it interesting - so I loose interest. I find myself not caring what others have scored, and I find myself speed golf the rounds because of the difficulty and the loss of interest in how I am doing it, since I shoot way over par no matter if I play slow or speedy. That is for me. What reason others have for not playing in USE, I don't know.

I think it would be more fun and interesting each week.

I have been meaning to write something for quite a while and now seems to be the right time. The reason I am “on leave” is as follows. Had been playing a lot for a long time and the society rounds were mounting and been pondering a break for a while. Then the misunderstanding in links society where I played one course and everybody else another made a perfect reason to take that break. And I then realised that I enjoyed the relaxed rounds without pressure so much just stayed on a break. And then the type of courses I do not enjoy so much came up in the regular USE and that kept me away a bit longer. Started playing more hard core so the game felt even more immersive to me. I try to play a mix of how I play and how I see the pros play. That means no chipping from the fringe and putt from fairway (even though the game make that very difficult), no flops from fairway (never seen a real player do that), Hardly ever use a full chip (very rare IRL), try to land the ball quickly and roll out. That means maybe chipping with an 8 iron from 9 feet. Very fun! And play with winds from No wind or Low as I rarely see anything else in tournaments and casual play. That does not comply to links golf, even if (very) high winds are rare there as well. But I have no intention to leave this society (if you don’t kick me out) and I check on you every day. I am still very, very grateful for all you have done and keep doing. And I might pop up in a round when you least expect it, hehe. Probably forgot things I thought to write.

Funny you should talk about chipping ( wedge chipping in this game is amateur difficulty as apposed to master). My last tournament I played in my real society I used my 7 iron for most of my chips and managed to get up and down 5 out of 6 times with it. Much easier to get distance control and good contact with a 7 iron, works for me . In real life I am making big changes to my golf swing and in this game I am trying to change up a few things to make my swing more consistent also. Would be good to see you on the links at Princes this week Mike on Mark's To The Linksland society. Great to hear from you

Great to hear from you Yes, I figure out the club I need to land the ball about a yard or two into the green and roll it from there. I was planning a surprise round, but now you ruined it! Just kidding, probably going to play Dunes-Himalaya.
