Just a minor thing at the Barry Burn - I took this screenshot at the 18th. The small gaps from the retaining walls are just things I tend to notice at the first glance. Second is the texture. I would use double water on the river - gives you green grass all the way to the walls instead of the more rocky texture you get from the water.

I just got a round in. I though it played great. I was struggling with tempo and putting and finished at +4. I really liked the course skunky ! Since I played on the PS5 I couldn't zoom around the course like a PC can.

I thought this was really well done, particularly the detail of the town and clubhouse etc. really added to the environment. Anders gave a great shout about the burn, would look better like he said but next round I play I'll get the roaming camera out and see if I can spot anything else to adjust but so far it looks superb, well done!

Ok thanks for the suggestions, ive gotten alot of feedback,clv24 shwoed me some hd videos that were really helpful, ive done as much to the bulkheads as possiable , and put water in all the burns, even the ones across the way, added alot more vegetation, fixed any pins i though were suspect. reworked most of the bunkers they look better.changed the lighting slightly, now you can play dawn and dusk without needing a flashlight.overall very happy with it and will go ahead and release the final.thanks guys !

Carnoustie (or 'Carnasty' as some locals call it ) is fantastic. 5 stars from me. Plays tough. Front 9 needs to be played well to have a chance at par on the back as thats were the big teeth are. Played from all tee's and different conditions. Dawn or dusk with cloudy gives beautiful lighting. The greens are extremely well done. Lots of attention was given to the subtle sloping. Especially short putts within a couple of feet are treacherous! Obviously only to be appreciated while playing without grids. Par 3's 13 and 16 are legendary holes for different reasons. Two of the toughest par 3's in golf. All in all mission accomplished. A stellar design.
