After a lovely couple of days warming up at Buzzard Point (I absolutely love that track!) we head over to the TPC Harding Park inspired Merced Municipal by Jeremey Mayo. I think this is a stunner, those on PC be sure to get your overhead camera out and go view the football stadium as it's a work of art, Jeremy is an extremely talented designer and I feel he's captured the Bay Area wonderfully with this creation although I'll let our resident champion @pakalolo77 be the judge on that! Wishing you all luck this week and I look forward to hearing about your rounds! Go well! I agree Paddy! Jeremy definitely captured the Bay Area vibes with this one. To get the surrounding area of SFSU baseball fields in along with Lowell High School's football field all on the same plot is amazing in it's own right. Course is really well done. I also loved Buzzard Point. It reminds of the Outer Banks (OBX) North Carolina where we vacation every year. I just finished playing Merced Municipal. Another great course! There is something going on with the IMGBB site. It won't let me post pictures to this site. I had a HIO on the par 3 #2. This put a little spark in my game and my attitude towards the game, which was greatly needed. I did manage to miss a 3 foot putt for par. My thumb slipped off the stick lol. R1 (-2) R2 (-3) for a total of (-5).

That was a nice stroll in the park. For some unknown reason to me, I just could not concentrate enough. And we all know this game is tough enough anyway. Really don't know who played the 18th, that was not like me at all.  Now off to my old math books to figure out what score I need to beat the fantastic score by @sirwade .  |

First round at Merced Municipal. Struck the ball well for the first 8 and the tee shot on the driveable par 4 9th. Hit it perfect on the right line but ended up OB right of the green. Had to re-hit this time with hybrid and few shots later a double. After watching the replay later, saw that it was right at the pin but the slope kicked it way right. Couldn't recover from that and/or stop the bleeding at that point. Really enjoyed the course. Couldn't scramble or putt well enough when given the chances. Onto the next 👍  |

Played a bit better today but still made some really silly mistakes including a 4 putt double with some very squiggly lines! I'm normally a pretty straight swinger which I'm guessing this also makes tempo more penal on long shots which would explain my poor form! if I couldn't pitch well I'd never break 80!
