Round 4 and a nervous one. Meet up on tee with a new member, skunky . Probably a kin to polekatt/josia . He outputted me with a 3 putt on the first, yes I 4 putted in that tree shaking corner of the green. We both found it tough in the wind and I rarely hit an approach close enough to the pin to have a serious go for a birdie, not even on par 5s. It was getting a bit to "fun" seeing paddyjk19 inching closer for every hole. A very good 68 in these conditions. Well, I avoided bogies on back 9 to take the temporary lead in the PC clubhouse. I see some very good playing out there, so I'm not holding my breath. I very much enjoyed 4 rounds on this course!

Well, it's a wrap on beautiful Alcanada. My first 4 round tournament in a while. Its always different playing a full tournament. Playing a course just once does not say anything about that course really. Playing it a couple of times and in different conditions, one starts getting better acquainted with the track and discovering new angles and difficulties. Also discovering spots you really do NOT want to discover! LOL! These settings are so good and the conditions well balanced, its just a lot of fun. I carded a 73/69/76/74. It looks like i bested my buddies Roger and Quade (skunky) this time! My 3rd round was very dissapointing with a stone cold putter and wayward shots making life difficult. The 4th round was pretty good but it does not show because i missed some good birdie chances and also made some mental errors along the way. Putting is obviously the big 'bogeyman' on this level. Anyway, very nice tournament and looking forward to the next one!

Played for the first time in this society. Finished R1 in +3 en R2 in +2. I am fairly new with playing with these settings. I missed some short putts, but I have the feeling I am learning quickly. This is so much more fun. Now preparing for the rain in round R3 and R4😉. Yes, welcome! And let me say that I am impressed with that first score. I scored in the 80’s and occasionally in the 90’s in the beginning. And welcome charles56 . Have played with your ghost many times, I regard you as an old friend already. 😊 Hello there! Thx for the welcome. Nice to read you played with my ghosts out there. Happy to be part of the USE crew. Looking at the past tournaments in USE i see an impressive list of courses played. That has gotten me licking my chops for the future!

Hey y'all, made it back from work last night after a long week away and now a Friday arvo session of golf. Wasn't sure what to expect...had a practice round in Kinetic and did OK so went straight into USE mode. Started with 2 bogey free -7's....very solid rounds. Some good par saves help. Then did this:
Which included this:
Went -8 on the back 9 in a -10 Rd3. Going in from all over the place. Was -3 after 4 in Rd4, then my first bogey on the 6th and sort of stagnated after that for a -2. -26 overall and very happy with the afternoons work. Ready for a session on Zwift for some more video game madness. Cheers

I made a bit of mess of the end of each 9 in Round 3. Drove in the trees on 9, and it was so nice to get a bit of shelter in there from the wind and rain, I decided to hack my way to the green through the trees eventually leading to a triple bogey 7. Cracking course management from me, NOT!! Got it all back coming home only to post a bogey on the last. And after all that forgot to take a screenshot of the card.
Here's hoping for better in the final round.

I made a mess of round 3 also.
I got home from practice late, and found that I could barely keep my eyes open to play. Just could not focus or concentrate enough to properly play. But had to play Rd 3 last night and Rd 4 tonight or I won't be able to finish.
Love this course!

Round 2 had 2 Humphs, no Venturas or Jessicas but did manage to sign an under par card. Crept up on someone

Round 3 again had a couple of Humphs but not much of anything else. Managed a chirp on the last to card evens, but lost ground to most of the field.
