Round 1 : Poor approach play meant I was always just happy to 2 putt or scramble for par most of the time .Found the greens very tricky to read as well.Beautiful track 👍

On one of my favorite courses, I made my first bogey free USE round. Now it's my favorite! Had a scare at the 18th after a sliced Seve drive almost to the adjacent light rough, but from there a 4 iron to 9 feet and a safe par saved my day. Now waiting for artvandelay. PS. There are no grass straws on the edges of the holes left. andersnm flattened them all with almost 18 near misses on the greens. DS.

Good First Round. Only mistake was on the 10th where I stumbled around on the green for a double. For Round 2, really took my time on those quick greens to make sure I got the pace right. Switched to the 82 yd LW after Wentworth and that has helped hone in my pitch distances/feel compared to the 79 yd LW. Got into a few tough spots where I short sided myself and salvaged pars on the front nine especially when I lost tempo. Quality shots down the stretch and was able to get that round into red figures. -7 at the halfway mark.

Remember I even spontaneously said something a couple of times.

What a beautiful course and nice planting around the area! I really enjoyed my rounds here. Round 1, I started strongly with a chip-in birdie on 2nd and another birdie on 3rd. On the driveable par 4 12th I gave my 3w all I got, drove the green and downed the putt for an eagle 2. I was excited about getting a no-bogey round, but the 15th par 3 got me in the end... Had a good tempo with my shots, and felt I could shape it both ways comfortably. Really good round after all, -4, 65. On the second round I managed to get a good score in the end, but it was a struggle. On the 6th (brutal back pin position!) I thought I hit a decent approach shot, just short of the flag, but it hit the slope and rolled back to the very front of the green. One very long putt later the ball rolled back to my feet, leaving me even longer par putt. Managed to get the ball up there in the end, and made the scary sidehill-putt for bogey... Finished very strongly (-3 for the last 4 holes) for a -2, 67. Third round was even more difficult, but loved the challenge! Had a dissapointing start with two bogies, but got a nice hot streak of 3 birdies to finish the front nine. Immediately started the back nine with a 4-putt double bogey, ouch... Another strong finish with a 4 birdies in the last 7 holes, too bad for the bogey on the last (after finding myself deep in the rose-bush on the left side of the 18th green). Couple of crazy long, outside chance putts on this round that dropped, that definitely helped with my score. Off to play the last round, hope I can keep it up Round 1: Round 2: Round 3:

I’ve done this on 6th hole IRL a few times, I bet there’s people who play this course in the game and think the green is not real but the LiDAR never lies!

Driving the ball really well tonight. 2 rounds in TST and another 2 in USE. Rarely finding too much trouble. Only bogey in 4 rounds tonight was a 3 putt from 50 odd feet in USE Rd1. Went -6 and -7. Both front 9's were solid but couldn't nail the putts. Back 9's were better. Eagled 12 twice with a 3W inside 10ft in Rd1 and a chip in from the back of the green in Rd2. Solid evening's work. Cheers

Round 2 in the history books and my legs are shaking. Tough winds and soap on the greens. Was 2 over after 3 and imagined a 95 on the scorecard. How this turned into a -1 68 I honestly don't know. A flurry of putts that dropped on some holes I can remember, but hardly hit a fairway. I think poor hoosierhoops24 made better shots, but had the bad luck to miss in the wrong places. Now that I know the conditions in round 2, WOW what a 62 by Tuffguts !
