Another great course selection by colly . A top notch course this one. The course was very intense with these conditions. Coming away with par on a hole was very satisfying. Distance control with approach shots and putting is paramount! R1 I didn't see the Byrne on #16 even though I had seen it in a practice round. I put my drive right in the middle of the Byrne. I was lucky to walk away with just a bogey. Overall I was very happy with my finishing score of -1 for the tournament. Good Luck to all and enjoy the course!  A little Wizardry from the bunker on #5 for birdie. This got me back to even par. |

Since I have been out of sync lately, I thought I'll do what most of you seem to be doing, hit driver off the tee almost everywhere. That went well! OB the left(!) on the 1st, hit a good drive on the 3rd into a burn I didn't notice ahead. When I write this I remember there is one at the 16th, but I forgot that one but never saw it. But even with that in mind, it is always fun on a great links course. The wind and the course punished me for being a little off here and there. It doesn't take much to drop strokes. Not ashamed of my 76 with a surprise OB and a surprise water visit. I recommend The Open videos on Youtube. Looked at Justin Leaonard's 1997 victory at Royal Troon before bedtime yesterday.  |

I was +3 after 2 and also shot -1 so happy with that - looking forward to our duel in rd 2 @sirwade Also, this course has been fantastically done, the stadia is perfect and the scoreboard on 18 is great creativity. Love it when a course is done this good, superb! |

The official players guide from the 2016 open might help you guys out a little....North-East wind in game true troon conditions 4-5 under on the front 9 with the par 5s then try to hold on coming back....Pins were from the 2016 open one of the best opens ever.Due to the blending in 2k21 with the bunkers close to greens some of the edges might not play true to the guide. www.strokesaver.co.uk/royal_troon_open_2016 |

Round 2 was one of my best rounds on USE. Steady with 2 birdies and the only blemish was a drive OB to the left on the Railway hole. Very happy!  |

As in round 1 just 1 bogey on the card which was a very good bogey in the end.Found a fairway bunker & got greedy with my 2nd shot ,hit the lip & left it in sand ,hit LW out for 3 & left myself a good yardage for a full GW for 4th shot .Put it to 6ft & holed it.😁 .Another superb creation by yeltzman this 👏🏻👏🏻 Very happy with my 2 round total of 8 under,cheers 🍻. |

Got both rounds in the other day. Could've been two bogey free rounds. Brain fart in RD2 on the 12th, when I read the putt distance as 14 ft 2 in up when it was actually a downhill putt on fast greens.  Still struck the ball quite well and pars were rewarding in these conditions. Another fantastic Linksland course! 👍   |
