Another course to look out for is Forest of Arden course Han started it TMT guy finished it off...Hosted an event this year on the European tour.Cracking course.

I played Forest of Arden 2 years ago with my society. The back 9 is fantastic on that course and I also played really well that day 😁, really looking forward to playing the rcr as I didn't know there was one. I Watched the European Tour event on the course a few months AGO. Looking forward to Paddy's rcr of The Oxfordshire also. A lot of great European rcr's out there, we are spoilt for choice. |

Now we’re talking. A first round 70. A “funny” three put from 3 ft spoiled an otherwise very stable round for me. You others will probably shoot in the low 60s, but I don’t care, haha. I might just have found a working swing. If you lost yours - I’m not giving it back! Just a lovely course, yeltzman! |

 The second and final round was too much like real golf for my liking (when something works, something else fails). The swing was almost perfect the first 9, but couldn't put. Still managed -2, but off course the swing started to resemble the putting and from 30-40 ft I was lucky to three put. Bogeys galore followed. Held it together for a +2 74 and E for the tournament. Can't wait for another links course to enjoy! Thanks colly for your wonderful initiative! |

First off I would like to thank Mark for setting this up! Cheers 🍺🍺 I teed it up with Colly for R1 but due to time restrictions i had to play R2 solo. I love links courses and I really enjoyed this course!!  A bunker shot for Eagle on #3 and a chip in for birdie on the #15 helped. R2 my short game was really working! My best tournament to date so far!  |

Got my first round in at Formby earlier and just finished this event now. Was playing army golf in my second round with the driver. Just couldn't find the right tempo. Hit a great approach from the rough close and didn't even it get to the hole. Next hole, of course a bogey. Trying to track down Wade who is currently the clubhouse leader. Stood on 16th tee and knew I needed something special as I was running out of holes. Told myself what if....hit it pure and knew it had a chance when it left the club. And then booom....beers are on me guys! 😁 Thanks for setting up these weekly Links events colly 👍   |
