Ready to take my place at the bottom of USE leaderboards, as soon as someone accepts me into the PC society. Request accepted  I think I will be at the bottom this week - quite a fierce competition to get at the bottom at the moment. You need to shoot at least worse than +70 or so this week to beat me to the bottom place. |

I see we have Valhalla on the schedule. There are two lidar versions out there. I hope it's this version tgctours.com/Course/Details/22816 it has 2.2K plays, 4.5 stars and 7422 from the tips. |

That is the best version of Valhalla. It is the same designer that has made the Ocean course at Kiawah Island. |

I went in to have a look since I missed this on my earlier play and look at the course. This is one example of total miss on OB planting. I have a screenshot of it - but that gentlemen, is not the way to plant OB. There is absolutely no reason to plant OB around that green. If there is OB to the right in real life, you can create that with good margin to the playable area.  |

Tried to find the guy on tgc forum, but I'm not sure he's on there, even though his courses are approved there.
I hate it when a great course is made unplayable by a tiny error. Is anyone on the HB forum to see if they can find him? All he needs to do is shift that OB a tiny bit and rename it!

Why is it OB anyway I can see the red stake there clearly. Never heard of an OB in front of a green before. Should be white stakes where it is OB.

I have sent the designer a message on the TGC Tours forum - last logged in a couple of days ago. Need to check his Kiawah recreation as well. The first he did was a bit rushed..

I actually think OB is warranted if it’s a high likelihood of lost bal IRL. Water hazard, not so much.
What CLV did on St. Andrews was great, with OB in the gorse.
Spotty OB in high grass areas would be OK IMO.

Really not sure why this guy used OB, maybe doesn’t know the water creates its own hazard penalty?! Who knows but it’s a shame |

Brandon Pugh/friendBOMBER’s Valhalla is excellent even though it’s not LiDAR.
(Actually, all of his RCRs are pretty darn good)
