I don't like that percentage showing up, I turned it off. If we play with it on, and I have it off, will it override?
Just turn pre-shot feedback off - and it should be off.

Found a proper pitch and putt to test out with % on and off. The Snack Nine. Greens need to be upped to moderate/fast.
This was earlier at Frome GC. Really enjoying the UK courses that are being released.

I have been trying to play pitch shots and have been getting much better results when I set my percentage intent. It is a really fiddly shot other wise, if we are going to go with no marker I think we should look at playing with distance control meter set to percentage. Thoughts everyone? What the heck is "percentage intent"?? Please explain.

What the heck is "percentage intent"?? Please explain. I think I’ve got it sussed now. Even with marker off and distance control meter off, moving the non-swing analog stick still affects the avatar‘s displayed backswing speed, albeit an unknown amount. What I’m still not clear about is whether the actual distance hit matches only your backswing percentage, or if it is some combination of actual backswing percentage modified by intent. A perfect example is putting in TGC2019 with marker off. If you have caddy suggestions turned on, the invisible aim marker is placed short or long of the hole based on the putt being uphill or downhill. If caddy suggestions are off, then the invisible marker is always placed right at the hole. The invisible marker when caddy suggestions are on has a damping effect on downhill putts and a strengthening effect on uphill putts that isn’t there when the marker is at the hole with suggestions off. I want to know if the invisible intent percentage has the same kind of effect in 2k21.

I want to know if the invisible intent percentage has the same kind of effect in 2k21. According to Craig at HB - the assist effect of the marker is much less in 2k21 compared to 2019 on putting. Moving the intent marker will only effect tempo, but if you turn Distance Control Assist on - you will not be able to overswing your marker - so you can dial in 75%, swing all the way back, and always get that 75%. With Distance Control Assist off - you can swing all the way and need to stop at the correct point with no help.
